This yarn is a blend of natural colored Alpaca and dyed Merino wool (approx 20%).
Lot 18-33 is medium rose grey Alpaca with Pink Merino wool resulting in a beautiful rosey grey.
Lot 18-23 is dark brown Alpaca with purple Merino wool resulting in a brown with fun purple highlights.
This yarn was carefully processed by Eddie Van Hout at Fireball Alpacas and I make Yarn in Caldwell, ID. Each fleece was evaluated for quality & potential use. After skirting & sorting by grade, it was washed, picked, & carded to produce the light, fluffy roving that hand spinners love. The roving was then spun into yarn that feels luxurious regardless of grade due to the initial sorting.
